Communication & Media

This office is responsible for communication and media relations for the Diocese and works with bishops, diocesan staff and with parishes to help their communication and communication ministries/programs. Print publications include a quarterly newspaper GOOD NEWS, a monthly newsletter sent to parishes, Pass It On; electronic publications include a "family" of online newsletters including a general weekly eNewsletter as well as ones that focus on clergy, parish administration, and more. The office also oversees and maintains the diocesan website, www.ctdiocese.org.

Good News is sent quarterly to all known Episcopal households. At any time you can call the office (ask for Sharron Ring) and request a copy of the list we currently have for your parish; return it marked up with deletions, changes, and a list of newcomers to add. Current issue: SPRING 2009 (PDF, 4.5 MB)

Pass It On is sent to every parish, to retired clergy, and to clergy widows. It includes notices of diocesan events, brief parish/clergy notices, a status of parishes in transition, and a list of upcoming Safe Church workshops. Current issue  JUNE 2009 (PDF)
